Welcome to Disabled Artists Gallery

Buy Art Directly From the Disabled Artist! Support and create jobs for them

Artists with disabilities, who despite great pain and suffering,  relentless fatigue, and limitations so severe that all they could do is blink or move one tiny muscle, can create  beautiful and amazing artwork. Do not think for one moment that any person with a disability is content to just merely exist from day to day with no hopes or dreams for that is not even close to the truth.

The paintings you see on this site are are created by disbled artists who work very hard on their art.  They are serious artists., and do serious work.  Some work at art to supplement a dismal income and other's work as Artists full time.

People used to think that once disabled, a person stopped contributing to society or doing outstanding things.  As people visit this site and get to know the Artists, they will come to realize that there are many thingsone can do in spite of a disability and  some people with disabilities can do things even better then there non disabled counterparts in some individual situations.

Art is one of the things within reach that is a realistic career goal for those with disabilities. This page was created to help promote disability arts and to give Artists with Disability's a platform to show, share and sell there artwork.  Some of the Artists on this site have become extremely popular and many new Artist's joining will become just as popular.

Our new Social Enterprise Gallery make it even easier for visitors to get to know there favorite Artist because people don't just buy art, they are also  wanting to know about the Artist and every great Artist in history has a story to tell about there life.  On this site, you will find more interesting and deeply connecting stories then you will any other place on the universe.   Every person on earth has at some time in there life experienced pain, suffering, loss or trauma. For some, it was short term or temporary.  What if you had to deal with it day after day or year after year?  How would you cope with it and who do you know who has gone through this type of human suffering?  If you have arrived here you have most likely met other's who have and this Art is one way to process and express not only that pain or suffering but the beauty in life as well.
