William Chia Yong Liang
Quadriplegic

William was born in 1960. He become a quadriplegic in 1984 because of a driving accident. He suffered from a stroke in 2007 and was confined to bed and was unable to talk at all. After much persistence and rehabilitation, his condition improved and hew was able to sit on a wheelchair. In july 2010, he picked up painting with his mouth. Today, painting is only his hobby and also giving him strength and confidence to move on.The money he earns from his paintings help to maintain his livelihood and medical expenses.

Goh Nga A
Poliomyelitis Mr Goh, a poliomyelitis is 71 year old this year and he likes to draw animal & scenery using oil paint, He love to paint and painting keep him occupied and putting creative thinking in his painting gives him pleasure. He is grateful to  both  HWA(Handicaps Welfare Association) and Bizlink which  provide a chance to explore his hidden talent.

Yong Jian Sheng
Intellectual Disability

Jiansheng is a 29 year old male with Intellectual Disability. He is very soft spoken guy and likes to be involved in art and craft works which include skills like drawing and coloring. He takes a long time to draw or colour a particular picture or figurine. He can neglect given tasks or can have hyper mood swings at times. But the staffs in Metta IDAC especially his teacher Miss Tan Boon Lee never gave up hope on him and his strengths. She nurture him gradually according to his strengths and his likes. And now, he has improved so much in his artwork. Especially with his art piece being selected now and prize money won, this would further enhance his interest and improve his quality of life. I believe Jiansheng would continue to contribute further in his hidden talents.
